I heard that this year(11) that in our reports we will no longer be getting A's, B's etc, but a ranking. Is it like thist at any other school? I havent heard a thing about it, but my friends older sisters report was like that.
If so what would happen with advanced 2U math...would we also be ranked up against the people doing 3U as they are doing the 2U course aswel?

each subject would probably be ranked separately...my report used to be grades as well, but I kno from this yr it would b in ranks against the whole grade

At my school we recieve our latest assessment mark/rank, overall assessment mark/rank, how we are performing in the subject, and how we 'appear' as individuals in the classroom.
In response to your question whether you will be ranked against people in extension 1, yes you will be.

at my school u get the rankings and not the A's and B's.. u get ur assessment ranking and ur last exam ranking...
Then jus a teachers comment on the side

you get rankings and performance of each course outcome (Highly Developed, Competent, Developing, Experiencing Difficulties, off the top of my head)

our school also has an "application" section where the teacher comments on your attitude towards that subject (Excellent, Very Good, Satisfactory etc.)

At my skool we got our assesment mark, our assesment ranking & examination/major task rank. then there were are series of questions on the report (depending on the subject) and these were answeed Highly developed, developed, competant & experiencing difficultly. our reports use to have numbers 1-6 with 6 being the higest and then before that it use to be A-E. Our skool could never stick to one reporting fomat.
