terra sancta college, im pretty sure u guys would never have heard of it. its not a selective school or nething, i guess business studies is just a subject which a lot of us take very seriously. that and our teachers excellent.

Na, i've heard of it...

Not many people in our school take business studies seriously, so there isn't any real competiton besides the top 10 students out of 50 :p

yeah i could say the same 4 us. theres about 60 students taking up business studies and only about 20 or so take it seriously. for others, its their 'bludge' subjects. the other reason would have to be the teachers. there are 4 classes and we have 2 teachers who take 2 classes each. im lucky enough to have a teacher who follows the syllabus step by step while the other classes r left doing crossword puzzles and other irrelevant stuff. this shows in the results as there is only 1 student in the top 10 from the other teachers class.
which brings me to another point, will poor results from other students down the bottom of the marks have ne impact on those higher up??

No, it wont impact aslong as you yourself do well.

You guys think having 10 ppl trying hard is bad? In my ENTIRE school, there is maybe 10 people trying. As for my business studies class, the only "competition" as such came from about 2-3 other people.

If your ranks are good, then no!
Well, let me put it a better way...
If your ranked amongst the competitive people, then your ok! :)
