results of TAFE to uni qn... (1 Viewer)

Those who have applied for transfer from TAFE to a uni through UAC, I'm talking about non-year 12 applicants...

How do we know that we made it to uni? Do we just wait for the offers like everyone else or do we get a UAI as well? Because I haven't got any UAI marks yet.

Also, do we have to send in our results to the unis that we have applied for?

How does the offers for non-year 12 applicants work?

NRSL also have to wait during the main round to see if they got a spot into uni....

and if you stated that you had previous tertiary results when you applied via uac, you don't need to send them any of your results, they will obtain it themselves....

well, each uni determines non recent school leavers differently, some create an nrsl mark while others take your highest qualification/rank to see if you can get into their uni.

My TAFE teacher said that UMAQ is the easiest uni to get into via things like TAFE...

I don't know if that is true or not...

UWS is the most easiest since Tafe and UWS maintain close links. I think we readily accept credit from tafe the most. Also in the TAfe catalog in the mail: SWSI: Fast track to Uni with tafe studies blah blah blah at the UWS.

people can get into 1st year at uws without even finishing their tafe degrees
all they need is attend tafe for one year .. so no diploma yet.. and uws will accept dem into 1st year undergrad...

I should have applied for a UWS marketing course at Parra!!

I have umaq marketing as my first preference... im doing advertising at TAFE... so yeh

BTW I didn't get any UAI mark... that's normal yeh?

you dont get a uai from tafe, only when you do the hsc.
you can look up your uai equivalent however...

Is looking up its equivilant relevant?

Like say if I got a UAI equivilant of 85 I can do engineering at UNSW or something like that?
