The world acclaimed writer of 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' has taken his own life at 67. Although I'm not personally a huge fan of his work myself, I'm sure this is upsetting news for anyone who enjoyed his novel, magazine articles for Rolling Stone magazine and the 1998 film adaptation of FLLV.

I was really sad to hear it. I loved all of the stuff he wrote. The world has lost a great man.
