well, i dont think that your idea is bad - but you really need to get a better focus for it. remember that, in essence, you're posing a question about some incident in history in order to reveal something about an historiographical issue - and your final question needs to reflect that. so perhaps something more along the lines of why society has felt the need to romanticise her death and what this reveals about the purpose of history, or how history panders to the demands of popular culture and creates these myths, using Cleopatra's death as a focus example?? just some suggestions off the top of my head to illustrate what i meant earlier
