The furthest we learn about roots of multiplicity in the HSC syllabusses is that if the power is even, the curve will bounce, and if it is odd the curve will have a horizontal inflection point. I have always wondered, as far as having multiple roots at that point on the graph, what else is happening there(something complex wise or no?), because as far as the syllabus goes all we really learn is that there is multiple roots.
