Does anybody know if the stuff on failure of the provisional goverment is under the dotpoint 'The nature of the Bolshevik revolution in 1917'? or is it like just giving background..

If it's not, what kind of things are?

I think the provisional government stuff should be in that question. You should probably also:

-Talk about power of Soviets (controlled railway, army etc)

-July Day Crisis (Kronstadt Sailors randomly attempt an uprising and fail, and then Kornilov does the same thing

-Why bolshevik policies of ending the war and land distribution were popular

-How lenin and trotters went around to factories talking to the workers and telling them how good communism is

-Russia is getting its butt kicked in WWI

and then how the Bolsheviks walked into government cause nobody could be bothered to stop them

Im sure there's stuff ive missed that others will help you with
