wat will happen to a galvanic cell if u remove the salt bridge? and wat does this do to the output volts?

if its a cell which is designed to use salt bridge,
when u remove it,
theres no volts at all ;)

because u remove the connection from the two beakers / electrodes

The external circuit is still there, you have just stopped the ions migrating.
Would this break the electrical circuit though, meaning no voltage?

EDIT: I guess it does

i remember my teacher saying that the salt bridge completes the circuit, so yeh without it nothing will happen. It also maintains the neutrality in the 2 half cells. So for example, the salt bridge usually consists of KNO3 right? So K+ ions go to one beaker, while the NO3- goes to the other beaker. (but i can't remember which one goes to which....sorry!) Basically, k+ migrates to the beaker which is becoming too negative and full of negative ions and vice versa for NO3- as well.

anions go to the beaker with the anode.
and vice versa.

the beaker with anode is the positive one (oxidation occurs.. release electrons up to the circuit and so the electrode gets more positive), hence the anions are negative.

um say Zn is oxidised to its ions, ie there is an increase of +ve charges to the anode solution, then NO3- would migrate towards it.
if the other way around and +ve ions are being removed, then the K+ migrates to make up for hte loss.
