hi, i just bought a new hard drive. a sata one. I didnt have sata onboard so i bought a sata raid card. I plugged the cable from the hdd into the card. Also i plugged a power connector into the hdd (it seemed i didnt need a power cable adapter). The hdd is recognised at start up, but wont show in my computer. What have i done wrong. I did a "low format" of the hdd and it still wont show up!

You can find fdisk on most boot disks. Format after partitioning.
