I wanted to know whether maths in the SC would be from the 5.1 course only as it is a general exam or are there questions from 5.2 and 5.3 level course as well?

I've been told by my maths teacher that the majority is 5.1 and 5.2, but there is also some 5.3 questions as well. If you do 5.3 at school (I do) I think its safe to say not all of it will be as hard as the stuff you learn at school, although some will be.

Essentially its an easy exam, but it does have harder stuff in it from 5.3 to determine who is at the top of the state and stuff.

Yeah thats true, the majority are 5.1 an 5.2, but some are 5.3 to determine those who are at the top of 5.2/bottom of 5.3/top of 5.3 etc
