Scaling for Arabic Beginners. (1 Viewer)

If a person drops down from Arabic Cont. to Arabic Beginners, and that person gets 100 for Beginners, will the mark scale him down because he is in Beginners or there is literally no affect on his mark?

In my opinion I'd drop it if you have 12 units, it has poor scaling. I had a friend who had gotten 78 and got scaled down badly for Arabic continuers or beginners cant remember which one.

Also if you're going to do Arabic beginners, I'd work extra hard to get a high mark to reduce the chances of getting dragged down.

Yeah I'm going to drop it now, I had a look at the Arabic Beginners exam and it's "like" the Arabic Cont. exams but just with more listening texts.
