can i apply for scholarships for second/third preference courses? also, if i do happen to receive scholarships for such courses, but then get into my first preference course, does that immediately nullify the other scholarships or do i have to tell ppl that i can't accept it or whatever...

u would get to know whether u got the scholarship way before knowing which course u get into .... so, its not too late to change ur preferences or to tell them that u arent accepting the scholarship

Each university has their own rules... for one of the USYD scholarships you need to nominate a degree with your application - if you decide not to do that degree later, you don't get the scholarship, regardless of whether or not they offered it to you.

You'll need to contact individual universities, +:: $i[Q]u3 ::+ (god how do you pronounce that?). They may also have info on their websites.
