Hey i want to screencap these clips from trailers and movies, and the movies [i have on dvd] work, but the one i have on my computer wont screencap.

Like the DVD ones work because of the different software [?] used, but with the one on my computer it starts up with windows media player and when i screencap that it comes out blank.

Is there a software or code or whatever i can use to make it work? Or do i have to buy something?

VLC Player is a good program for screen capping dvds and avis etc.

If with Windows Media Player your using print screen then it won't cap them and that would be why it is coming out blank.

you need to disable one of the settings in wmp

I read on someone website it's the 'use overlay' key or something, and tried it but it won't work. It still comes out black.
