ok so let say I have a video clip ... is it possible to make this clip my screensaver? its like 5 mins long though - Win XP!

Haha.. although that would be cool, it definitely wont be "power-saving". Your CPU and GPU would be using even more power. I dont use any screen-saver mumbo-jumbo coz i have a TFT monitor. If you're not familiar, this type of monitor works by "blocking" and "manipulating" a constant white backlight. Therefore if you have just a black screen the monitor would be hotter since all that light energy has been blocked.
