Disease- A condition which prevents the normal function of an individual
Pathogen- A disease casing organism
Virus- RNA of single stranded DNA molecule that lives in a host cell and replicates e.g. smallpox.
Prion- abnormal infections proteins that cause disease in the brain- e.g. Jacobs Disease
Protozoan- single celled pathogens e.g. malaria
Fungi- eukaryotes that grow in warm moist areas.
Eukaryote- has absence of a nucleus and organelles
Prokaryote- has nucleus and organelles
Macrophages- Live on and/or in organism to feed and can be seen with the naked eye. E.g. Tapeworm
