Oh crap...didn't read that.3 should be D I think. He was also paid a $50 wet weather allowance.
I did 1.06(45000+7500)/12. Not sure if that's right (mine).My working out for 11 was
X=(45000 x 1.06 + 7500) / 12
X = 55200 / 12
X = 4600
Hayley
Got all the same except for 3) D.
I interpreted the 6% as on the salary alone but maybe I'm wrongI did 1.06(45000+7500)/12. Not sure if that's right (mine).
Yea, I don't think they explained it very well.I interpreted the 6% as on the salary alone but maybe I'm wrong

It didn't specify a gender when choosing. It said "one of these students" So I did 155/505 =31%3 i had D
10 i had C... 155/277 = 56%
11 i had D also
21 i had A
"What is the probability that this student is MALE and living with his parent (s)?"It didn't specify a gender when choosing. It said "one of these students" So I did 155/505 =31%

10 should be 155/505 * 100. It didn't ask what is the probability that a male is living with his parents. It asked what is the probability of him: being a male, and that he lives with his parents - as indicated that they "selected by random" and they didn't "select a male."3 i had D

11 is an awkwardly worded question. I think it might be D actually. Fuck.
21 was tossing up between A or B. I think it is A actually.
