Section III. How do texts demonstrate? anyone else?

for my trial HSC paper in section III the quesyion was as follows:
["Change is a process as well as an end product"
How do the texts you have studied demonstrate this statement? ]

Is the 'How' asking for languageTechniques or issues/themes?

thanks in advance for any help.

Since when have important things like _ISSUES_ been part of English?

It's all techniques.

Except you have to use them to show ______ (eg. 'Change,' 'Intrinsic Value,' et al).

Apparently. :D
