im doing a bsc, so ive found 3 courses worth each 6uoc. Thus i have 18uoc, but im undecided on what course i should choose to make up the 24uoc.....so can I pick a course now and change it (up until ~feb 24th) ? I just don't want to be stuck in a course i choose hastily...

Yes, but be aware that courses might fill up, so the sooner you get into something the better.

is it better to overload and then withdraw the course you dont want? Or can't you overload without permission?

computing is really really useful. learning C in 1st yr will place you in good stead for future computing courses.

Those are 2 good reasons for doing computing - it can be quite fun at times.

Is comp1911 the basic com sic class now that everyone takes? I was looking at a friend's program and can't seem to find reference to comp1711/1011?
