How do i separate Sodium Sulfate and Copper Oxide?

Does anyone know?

Sodium sulfate is soluble; copper oxide is insoluble.
Mix your, uh, mixture with water and then pour it through some filter paper. The stuff in the paper is copper oxide, and then you can evaporate the water off the other liquid to get your sodium sulfate.

I think that works =\
