How do I shade the region

x greater than or equal to 1/y

x>1/y is just y>1/x this is just:

For the first quadrant, it is everything above the curve there. And the next region is in the 2nd and 3rd quadrant, everything above the curve in the 3rd quadrant.

You can simply do this by plugging in values in that equation

Doesn't the infinite discontinuity make it a bit yuck to shade? You basically need a dotted line along the asymptotes as well...
Right?

The asymptote is just the x and y axis. And no the shaded region in the 3rd and 2nd quadrant should be touching the y axis
