What do you think?
I'm not a fan of the Liberal Party but I think Malcolm Turnbull takes it for me.

Paul Keating.
I was too young at the time. But I like Bob Hawke over Keating, he was man enough to cry...all the time.

Cant go past Keating
JH was a lot sharper than he gets credit for (here). But he was also v lucky.
Costello and Beazely are/were very bright but strike me as lazy.
Rudd's special power is a relentless protestant work ethic, more than anything
Gillard is razor sharp
Turnbull is probably the sharpest bloke in parliament atm

He may not be the wittiest or the sharpest but he did sniff a chair.

I was way too young to give a fuck about politics back in the Keating days. I have no idea what he was like.

4-corners was great.
Cross between Napoleon and Churchill? Lol thanks Rev.
Had totally forgotten his comments re Howard after the Republic ref failed
I was most upset that there's no recorded evidence of his 'famous' temper

Tom Uren had a magnificent wit.

As far as party leaders go, Whitlam and Keating are the modern standouts.

As far as current members of parliament go, it's Costello and Gillard.

Turnbull? Wha?
