Hi guys can someone give me hope (or brutal honesty)

i’m ranked quite low to median in all of my subjects

history ext 3/15
modern 18/30
eng adv 27/62
biology 20/42
legal 18/20
english ext 11/14

spanning across one band 6, 2 band 5, 2 band 4 and 1 band 3

i’m really aiming for an atar of 78. but i don’t think it’s achievable right now!

can i actually pick my marks up in externals? or should i just give up and stop stressing.

if it helps for background my school normally ranks top 140 and each of my subjects (minus modern history) has a strong cohort with the average mark ranging between 78% - 88%

78 is easy af honestly, u can definitely pick up your marks in ur externals
u need rlly low band 5s in ur subjects to get that so yeh ur set

ofc you can get that atar
the median was like seventy-something and going to a top 140 school ur immediately above the median

anyway there's really no reason to give up hope now. Doing well on your HSC will be good, no matter what your internals are.
