I missed the CSSA exam on thursday, and as so many people have been sick throughout the exams, the school is making everyone come back and do everything they missed, rather than giving them an estimate.
So anyway, I'm wondering if they will give me the same CSSA test that i missed.... what do schools normally do in the situation

P.S - does anyone remember any of the questions from the exam? :apig:

Thanks for the helping initiative Huy :) you are a kind man
But i did my test almost a week ago, and got the results today
I didnt think it at the time (the paper didnt say 'CSSA' on the front) but i did in fact do the CSSA paper like everyone else (didnt manage to scab any Q's of ppl as i just asumed i'd do a substitute paper :p)

got 77%, and that was 2nd in my year out of 55 IPT students =\

yeh, it is evident that ppl in my year (including me) are shit at IPT

ah well, it'll boost my rank, which is what i need

bah IPT freakin sucks

Not a problem Fade :)

What was the highest mark? (1st)
I'm curious :)

At my school, we only have 17 or 18 students doing IPT, so it's just the one class. (The same goes for SDD, about 12-15 students, the one class).

Don't worry, the average IPT mark, for our half yearlies at my school, were below 50, that's how bad it was. And this is including my average, which (in an effort to drag the mean across the 50 mark) still wasn't enough.

I think the average was 30 to 40.
And if you have one person who gets 80, 90 or even 100
It still wouldn't change the average very much, as you're still distributing the total marks over the number of students.

IPT will boost my placement statewide, (I am 1st at my school, and I am pretty sure I am 4-5 SD's away from the mean).

Yes, IPT does (freakin) suck! :D

1st was about 81% or so
Oh alright, thanks for the statistic :)

Your paper may have been a combination of Independent + ARC + CSSA + NEAP and other sources? Maybe?

They probably took the cover sheet off the CSSA paper because it's the standardised cover, and took bits and pieces from every exam and changed things for you. :)
