Applications are open for mid year entry into the following majors in the Bachelor of Arts in Communication degree. You need to have already done your HSC or equivalent but not at UTS.

* C10246 Bachelor of Arts in Communication (Journalism)
* C10248 Bachelor of Arts in Communication (Public Communication)
* C10249 Bachelor of Arts in Communication (Writing and Cultural Studies)
* C10250 Bachelor of Arts in Communication (Social inquiry)
* C10251 Bachelor of Arts in Communication (Information and Media)

These courses are by direct application to UTS (not through UAC)
Closing date 30 June 2010

In order to apply mid-year, applicants must have successfully completed at least one full time semester of previous tertiary studies in a related field at undergraduate degree level. Relevant prior study will be necessary in order to qualify for sufficient Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) to start the Bachelor of Arts in Communication mid year 2010. Prospective applicants must email/phone the Head of the Communication Program as directed below for RPL advice prior to lodging an application.

Note - Recognition of Prior Learning for INSEARCH students will only be granted to eligible applicants to C10248 Bachelor of Arts in Communication (Public Communication) for mid-year 2010.

is this a wind-up? because it's definitely something i'm interested in. can't find anything on the UTS website related to this.

also it seems a little odd that UTS would take mid-year external transfers when they don't apparently, according to some guy at the student centre.
