cause that looks really kool
that's the way we had it at first and most people didn't like it
i was sure i found a way to change it to that but i can't find it anymore
i think it was in the bottom left corner, on the drop down menu of "bos v bulletin 3 style" you can choose another style, but the one you want isn't there.

The reality is that the bos admins work or study fulltime and designing skins for forums is a pretty time consuming job.

They may take suggestions for ideas, but essentially skinning is an aesthetic add on and the admins would prefer to add functionality - features such as quick edit and quick reply - first.

I think if you really want to, you could design your own, with functionality and perhaps PM or email them if you're really keen.

One thing id say is that highly graphical ones would be the death, since this place is axsed by all sorts of people so apart from minor graphical updates, and a few CSS aesthetic colour changes i dont really see a need for it to have anew skin.

Maybe a compact skin with less demanding bandwidth (with less extensive images) is needed for people with 56k.
