so when it comes to making slideshow presentation thingys for birthdays etc (with photo's), what can you use besides powerpoint ?

i saw a video style one that was played using quicktime at a party once and it was awesome, how to make plz ?

Windows movie maker, adobe premiere, final cut pro etc. Stick with windows movie maker, just drag the pictures into frames.
