If there's no indication that the situation is otherwise, can I assume that all jobs advertised are full time positions?

Anyway i'm thinking if they don't state that its a full time position its most likely something casual or part time.

If they really wanted committment from you, they would say so

um i really dont think there's any way to tell. You would have to enquire when you call or email or write to them or however they want you to go about it. although i would lean towards the idea that if they don't specify, it's more than likely full time...coz every job ad i've called up about that didnt indicate hours ended up being FT. but its not necessarily always true. You can sometimes tell from the actual job being described whether its more likely to be full time or not.

Also, let us know what was the result of your job searching lala2. I'm interested in maybe landing a full time job at least while i have some spare time so it'd be helpful if we could really find out what employer ads mean.
