any tips for solving problem related to complex number graphically?
I am really bad at these like, sketch and write down locus equation of arg(z-1/z+i)=3pi/2
and some questions give u an argand diagram, and given location of z1(z+1), with z2 and z3. Then u have to find z2,z3 in terms of z1
something like if z2 is 90o anticlockwise from z1 then u have to multply by i

I really have no idea how to approach these kinds of questions easier..:(:(:(

grab a copy of terry lee's 4unit book

has a whole section dedicated to doing it geometrically

If I'm not mistaken, this is a "Pacman question" and is no longer in the syllabus, although some schools seem to place them into trial papers.

Haha yeah I am, I'm the one that kept it as an Appendix :) But I put some practice pacman questions in as Optionals so you have no excuses :)

Technically I suppose you can answer those questions using the knowledge you already have from the 4u syllabus without much of a stretch. *shrugs*

complex

in these questions are the endpoints included or not?
and also, do we have to know how to geometrically divide complex numbers, using similarity and all?

no

arg 0 is undefined.. and arg [z-w / 0 ] is not defined either ..
