don't you need to have done psy104 to be able to do psy105???

it looks like both of you will be a semester behind in your degree...

for the bba/ba-psych degrees, your 100 level core units arn't meant to be completed in first year... that you can probably work out yourself...

but i'm still thinking you will be behind a semester... because to continue on with 200 level PSY units psy104 and psy105 will most likely be pre- requisites...

the area you are going to be specialising in...
you know in the 200 and 300 level units how it makes you pick 2 from either HRM, Marketing, Finance, etc, etc...? yeah well those are the modules.. just pick one...

The obvious elective module to do is HR. If you're doing this degree you should be into HR/Organisational psych stuff, cos thats where it leads career wise.

This was the degree I originally enrolled in after high school.

You can do 105 before 104 (I know some people who did this) as long as you have studied stat170 and understood it. However there is a natural progression from 104 to 105. And you can leave first year psych units for your second year. 200-level for 3rd year and 300-level for 4th year - so it can all fit in.

Hard to say regarding boringness factor. I found soem topics in psych horrendously boring and painful (like biopsych and stuff on perception).. and thsoe 2 are core units for 200-level psych. I heard a test was so hard for one of the 200-level units that girls were crying after it. Having said that, I LOVED stuff on social psychology with Kip Williams. Probably the best thing I've studied in my 3 and half years.

Two words of warning: There's a STATS subject every year.. yuck. (You should do stat270 and not psy222 when given the option).

And you need to have a decent GPA to get into one of the 200-level psych units (can't remember exactly what it was). If you're below the GPA requirement you cannot do the unit and essentially cannot finish the psych component of your combined-degree.

Psychologist tend to do a pair bit of testing (be it mostly on patients). And they want a way to interpret the data they collect.
