everytime i come here i find someone asking what they should do so ive been thinking and you could looks at the following;
* Catherine of Aragon; Virgin or deciever? - In other words look at whether or not her first marriage was consumated, a good overview which names alot of primary sources for use is David Starkey "Six Wives; The queens of Henry the VIII"
*The evolution of mythology; the role of mythology throughout the ages" - pretty much look at how myths are created then re adapted throughout the ages and why this is so, and what this shows about history. Take for exapmle Morte D'Arthur which was written based loosly on the myth of arthur and actually details the achievements and accomplishments of henry the fifth. Easiest if you focus on one myth thats been continualy re adapted and concentrate on why (think movies for 20th century!)
*The Black Athena controversy; To what extent is it a controverosy of the sources? - looking at how its teh political and social agendas of teh sources which turn this into a controversy, so youd focus on how context causes individuals (and groups) to veiw history in a certain light.
*Motzart - Suicide or Murder? - pretty self explanatory
anyways there just a quick few off the top of my head, ill post up more as i think of them. There is ofcourse the usual ones of ; king arthur, atlantis, stonehenge...
