For a text to have textual integrity, it needs to be able to stand the 'test of time' or be universal in its reach - meaning that the text is applicable and holds up to a range of readings.

it needs to discuss things which are relevant to everyone, not jsut a particular group of poeple at a particular time. E.G Australian Identity would not be relevant to a universal audience, so what makes it so popular overseas? Family and feminist issues would maybe help halp it be more relevant to other countries.
