I think it was the N and H's but im not sure

and does anyone know the composition and general formula for amino acids????

this is for forensic chemistry, and i hate it so very much, trying to do notes know but i don't understand half the Q's and cant find it in that stupid orange book

I do forensics too. Post in the Forensics Sub-forum.

Amino acids contain both an amine and a carboxylic acid functional group. That is, NH2 and COOH.

Yes, I'm one of the unfortunate few. Forensics is nothing but Biology and Physics, neither of which I study. :(

Haha, did I? I don't remember. Some stuff in Shipwrecks is kind of general Chem. :p
