hey guys,

I need to know the spatial and ecological perspectives of dee why, but i can't seem to find it anywhere!?

Does anyone know this or have a site i can read?

No one has posted. So here's an attempt at the answer (no research done).

Spatial: where things are and why there are there.

Ecological: human activity and its effects on the environment.


Dee Why is a coastal, urban suburb situated north of Sydney. It is known particularly for it's surf culture; both the people as past and present professional surfers and for its world class point surf break.

Spatial dimension: for the beach you can talk about coastal processes such as erosion, long-shore drift, destructive and constructive wave actions, deposition, coastal landforms (e.g. rock formations, beaches). Then there's the land part.

Ecological dimension: Dee Why is under fast population growth. Various consequences result such as resource depletion, urban decay, over-population, economic activity/prosperity/challenges, pollution, environmental depletion, the doughnut effect, urban renewal.
