I also did fy organic chem last semester. They mustn't mark it terribly hard since I am not aware of anyone failing chem1041 or chem1031 (well nobody that surprised me).
Its a bitch in that it mostly requires committing reactions, catalysts etc to memory and too much is intuitive. Mechanisms were easy marks I thought.
I am still debating whether I should try second year organic - I hate non-aqueous solvents (I am still a bit nauseous from a copper-chloroform extraction)!
