Hello people.
I just found my related material for Inner Journeys.
All together i have my prescribed text- My Place
My stimulus booklet - Road Not Taken
My related Materials- Stand By Me [film]
- Let it go [cartoon]

And i was just wondering whether anyone would know any good places to get info from, for the film stand by me

Or if anyone knows some significant info that they could tell me?

I'm using "Stand By Me" too, but from a Physical Journey aspect, so I don't know how I could help you out.

I suggest you really do your own study of the film, focusing on filming techniques and its effects on how it portrays the Inner Journey.

I also suggest you don't depend and study only on one of the texts from the Stimulis Booklet as the Board of Studies has the power to select a text from the Booklet (though they have not in the past, but they may always change). Also a different text from the Booklet may be more suitible for the question.

Hey.

I would do the film Stand by Me as 1 of my found texts except that my English teacher advised 4 us not 2 do it as most ppl would chose 2 do it.

Also i did it in yr 11 as part of the Area of Study topic self discovery.

Hey I'm not doing Stand By Me but I do love the movie.. if it was me I would focus on describing the way in which the boys' physical journey (being out in the wildnerness, trekking for miles without guidance, and camping) along with their physical development as growing boys has instigated their inner journeys.. and the inner journeys have led them to maturity, compassion and understanding. They have also developed independence, respect for the dead and a strong understanding of life.
