heyy i was just wondering ryt, i havent received my statement of account letter yet.. but my mum paid the fees through her work [last tuesday] but how am i to know if the uni received the payment? and im not sure if my mum did it correctly .. cuz she only asked for my student number cuz apparently thats all she needed to send a check or sumfing.. anyways.. anyone got any info on this or should i be worried about it? I asked the student centre for help but they juz told me they dont deal with fees n stuff... so they pretty much told me to get lost.

If she paid by credit card, it should be on the statement which you can view online.
Your mum should have had your payment reference number as well.
Call the student centre on tuesday and ask them if the payment went through if she didn't pay by credit card. Since the student centre were being bitchy, try calling the cashiers.

if she did pay you, you will recieve an email saying your student id and a receipt saying that you have paid your fees and the amount.
like Cape said, to make sure, call them on tuesday [mon is a public hol] on 1800 897 669 and tel them what happened.
im bewildered that they told oyu that they dont deal with that....oh wait, they dont, you need to go to the finance/cashier to ask about that. hopefully, if you can call the bank/credit card company to hold the payment, it might be a possible alternative.
i dunno the cashiers number but call the student centre anyway and they can refer you the number for them.
