If anyone didnt know, This band called Modular Lounge are playing at the Stro tomorrow night(wednesday)... theyre bunch of pretty hot chicks (and im not ashamed to admit that haha) anyway they played here like a year ago at Tatts with The Floors (who played at Freshers too) and now theyre back so everyopne should go see them, for a number of reasons but mostly to show that the stro is needed and a vital live music venue in armidale.
check out their myspace www.myspace.com/mlounge and ill also plug the floors www.myspace.com/thefloorsau coz theyre looking to come back to town super soon and everyone should support any band who makes the trek to armidale.
AND for all those Aus Indie music lovers theres a few bands playing at the armidale club(91 beardy street) in upcoming weeks, we got Old Man River, Ill Starred Captain and The Great Dividing Range, its probably safe to say that most people here would not have heard of ANY of these bands but that doesnt mean you cant go see them.
