does anyone kno where i can get the structure of PLA so i can relate that to the properties which accounts for its usage?

Hey bud, I am like 100% sure you don't need to know the structure of it. You need to know how its made i.e. the specific enzymes or organism used to synethesise the raw material. Then you need to relates its use to its properties (not its structure).

No. You need to know what the syllabus says to know - not everything. Read the dot points bud.

For HSC purposes, I believe, you do NOT need to know the structure (though I remember it any way). However, individual schools may require students to know it.
