Hi, I am new to MQ. Just wanted to know how is the gaming community at the university.

Are there any places where gamers game or hangout? Is there a gamer club or student group in Macquarie? Just looking to make friends with similar interests. Your responses are highly appreciated. Thank you!

I suggest the Computing Society. Not dedicated to gaming, but they have LAN parties occasionally.

Yeah I second the Computing Society, that's the closest we have to a gaming society. If you're into sci-fi, the Sci-Fi Society are into games too but they kinda overlap.

On a similar note, I feel like MQ has such a lack of societies in comparison to other main unis but oh well.
