I thougth USyd was shady. They've got nothing on this bunch. I was just on their website under the heading "Minutes and Agenda's 2006 Council Meetings" there is nothing, didly squat. Same under information. No reports, constitution anything, and there's a whole bunch of people waiting in ambush around campus wanting us to vote for them?

You should get politik to start it up. Oh ho ho, ah ha ha, oh ha he ho ha.

Yes, that was poor. I do agree with the dislike of those weirdos handing out pamphlets to vote for some group of douchebags. It's totally uncool.

I never got approached. Which was annoying cos I was looking forward to saying "haven't paid my fees - won't pay them until the election is over"

I'm no fan of the Guild. Getting to know the guild was the best argument I ever got for the Victorian VSU model (this coming from someone who has benefited tremedously from compulsory student unionism).

The problem with VSR is that it never really acheived its stated aim, as any student who opted in for activism had all of their fees channelled towards it.

Haha, I still haven't been invoiced for my fees. Did anyone else try enrolling really late to avoid the fees? It worked for me.
