What fees? HECS fees or entrance fees?

HECS from last session was $2888.06

Then there was the same old:

Annual fee: $347.80
Entrance fee: $73.70
-------------------------------
Total: $421.50

But that was taken from us in first session only.

If you're an international or other fee-paying student at UTS you also have to pay the yearly card fee - $7.50

$460? for a continuing USyd student.
$560? for a new student (the 'joining' fee has become a 'building' fee of some sort).
Oh, they are yearly fees, too.

It all goes toward the unions/src, although why we are forced to pay for three and not just two* (the union and the src serve a purpose, but the sports union seems to exist only to finance the uni's netball and rugby teams, despite the claims that student fees do not assist either team).

*It is kind of obvious that the three student bodies at USyd could be similar to a single student body at another university, but eh, I hate supporting those with the time to go for a swim or a rock climb during the day :p.
