Hello, here's what I believe would constitute effective study for Mathematics Advanced, Business Studies, English Advanced and Information Processes and Technology:
Mathematics Advanced:
An example of a sequence that would allow you to effectively prepare for the Mathematics Advanced HSC exam is as follows:
Learn/Revise the content → Complete relevant practice questions → Complete past exam papers.
Revising the content involves revisiting the different topics (including the most important concepts from each respective topic) in order to ensure you have a thorough understanding of the topics. This will help you determine any areas of improvement and subsequently address those. This brings us to the next step, which is to complete relevant practice questions. Your textbook should be the main source of such questions. You should complete as many practice questions from each topic as needed to complement your understanding of each topic, and (if applicable) improve where required.
The last step is to complete past HSC exam papers. Doing so will allow you to apply your knowledge to HSC exam questions and will further familiarise you with the way the HSC exam is designed for Mathematics Advanced. It is important that, while you are completing papers, you are able to identify any weaknesses and address those as you go. Effectively doing so, while completing as many past exam papers as possible, constitutes a significant boost to your preparations, allowing you to become more confident and comfortable with manipulating the content as you approach your HSC exam for this subject.
Business Studies:
One of the most important things to do as a starting point is to revisit the syllabus document and ensure you are familiar with (and remember) the structure of each HSC topic, allowing you to correctly identify which concepts to elaborate on within your responses.
Another important thing to do is to ensure your notes are of good quality, i.e. compact, yet concise. In addition to this, your notes should cover all the syllabus dot points. Ensuring that you have a thorough understanding of the content is also essential, and should be done by going through your notes, until you feel confident and comfortable with effectively manipulating Business Studies content.
Ensure you have your case study material ready to be used within your Section IV response. The case study material to be incorporated into your response will depend on the topic that the question covers, meaning you should have a thorough knowledge and understanding of case studies relevant to each topic.
Once all of the above is complete, the next step is to complete past HSC exam papers. Similarly to Mathematics Advanced, you must determine areas of improvement and address those (if applicable). Doing so will likely be the easiest within the multiple-choice section, and may require some assistance with Section II, Section III and Section IV responses. If possible, seeking feedback on your responses from your teacher would be a good way of doing so. Alternatively, you may post your questions here!
You can also participate in the Business Studies Marathon, which I'll link below:
Inspired by @Hivaclibtibcharkwa's Biology Marathon idea, a Business Studies marathon thread will allow students doing HSC Business Studies to consolidate their knowledge by posting their own questions for other students to attempt as well as answering questions posted by other students. The...

English Advanced:
Start by revisiting the syllabus document for English Advanced and going through each module, including the main ideas/themes/issues raised within each respective module. Once you are done with this step, you should revisit your prescribed texts, including any related notes that you have, allowing you to consolidate your understanding of each text. Going through a list of techniques that you have covered in both year 11 and 12 is also beneficial. This includes elements such as what the technique is, how it can be used in a sentence and/or within a text as well as the general effect if presents when used in a particular quote/text. This will be particularly beneficial when analysing unseen texts as well as supporting your analyses within your essays.
You should attempt past HSC exam papers and apply the same ideas I mentioned for Mathematics Advanced, that is, identifying and addressing areas of improvement. Doing so involves seeking feedback from your teacher (if possible) and will eventually allow you to develop high-quality responses, ultimately preparing you for your HSC English Advanced exam.
Information Processes and Technology:
Effectively preparing for this subject is probably the least demanding compared to the rest of your subject as effective preparation primarily depends on your knowledge of the content.
Start by revisiting the syllabus document for IPT and remember the key concepts explored within the main topics as well as the option topics. Once this step is complete, you should thoroughly use your notes for revision. Doing so requires your notes to be of high quality. If you feel your notes are not of sufficient quality, check out this set of IPT notes (if you haven't already):
ngl but I put my blood, sweat and tears into this My notes covered absolutely everything u need to know i got 94 for IPT with these notes :) give these notes a rating too :D enjoy!!

Once you are confident in your ability to effectively manipulate the content, you should complete past HSC exam papers. The above-mentioned strategy with respect to determining and addressing areas of improvement also applies to IPT, and is important to consider, particularly if you wish to maximise your Examination Mark, allowing you to receive a high final mark for this subject. The more consistent your application of this technique, the more beneficial completing several papers will be, and the more prepared you will be for the HSC IPT exam overall.
I hope this helps!
