Can those who are constantly first in a subject or more please share their study schedules? I always wonder how do ppl manage to come first in one or more subjects while balancing all the others (nothing below 85%)?

do assignments as early as humanly possible (I aimed for the day they came out) and then completely perfect them, they’re often weighted almost as much as trial/prelim exams and with slightly better organisation and a bit more time than everyone else you’ll do way better, and because they are out of less marks every extra mark can make a big difference

Oh ok so u did it something like:
assignments early then you get time for homework ultimately giving you extra time to get feedback/self-study?

It's not just assignments too, sustained effort in terms of understanding and applying content, completing all classwork to a high standard and taking notes throughout the term is gonna help you out big time. It frees up time for you to study for your exams when they come up, and by then all you need to do is revise (unless it's an assignment). It also puts you in the right mindset before an exam, minimising stress because you KNOW you can do it. If your assignments come up before your exams, getting them out of the way ASAP will be key.
