I wanted to ask, what happens if say;

A class consisted of 5 students; there final assesments(Raw marks) were;

1. Student A - 100
2. Student B - 99
3. Student C - 98
4. Student D - 88
5. Student E - 86

Lets say, that in the final exam for HSC (raw marks) Consisted of and their ranks;

1. Student B - 72
2. Student C - 69
3. Student A - 68
4. Student E - 66
5. Student D - 64

What would happen to student A? B? and C?

What would there assessment mark be, and what would happen to their Final HSC mark, considereing, Student A came first in NSW, followed by student B then C (assessment marks)

What would happen to their exam marks?? since they did so awful in the final exam?

So the point is, it doesn't matter if all of them got over 95 in their school-based assessment mark, since they are all pretty average in the hsc exam, the BOS will moderate these assessment marks.

The final "pool" of exam marks (72+69+68+66+64) achieved by the students will equal to the final "pool" of moderated assessment mark awarded for each course in each school.
