Study Vacation.

It's a week or so off intended for you to get away from class. It happens when the classes have finished and before exams start.
Here I advise you to do last-minute catchup, revision and preparation for exams.

dont know how much i'll follow this myself but i advise to try and leave last minute catchup to before stuvac.

stuvac should really just be revision and preparation, but each to their own

A period of time before the HSC where people either:

a) Study their arse off
b) Drink their arse off
or
c) Get stressed, have a nervous breakdown and assume the fetal position.

Option A would be the recommended method of using your time.

Depends when you finish term 3.

Stuvac is the school holidays between term 3 and 4 plus a period of time (last year 3 days, a week in 2005, i think) between the end of the holidays and the first HSC exam. Yes it may vary if some schools start holidays at different times. Also some schools may have optional classes or study sessions during stuvac.

why would your stuvac so short? you have the two week break at the very least...

stuvac for me was about three weeks all up. couple of days at the end of term 3, two week break and a couple of days before exams started.

Haha, im gunna need as much stuvac as i can get.

We have a 'welcome back' breakfast on the first day of term 4, and classes run as usual for revision, even though we dont get in trouble for not going.

I think our school just likes breakfast.... Coz we have have a "pancake and prayer breakfast" on our graduation day as well, haha.
