Sub-Major vs Major (1 Viewer)

I'm studying in university of western sydney, and i'm having a hard time to choose a programming or networking major.

So I considered the possibility of instead of doing a major, i'll do 2 sub-majors, 1 for networking and 1 for programming.

My question is how will this impact my future career. Is it a good idea to go for sub majors at all?

can't he just choose to do more than that guys? I've heard of people doing a double major and one sub major, and I thought you had to have atleast one major in a university degree?

I'm doing a bachelor degree.

According to my course, it mentions nothing about that, just "Please note: Majors and sub-majors are optional."
And only says 240 points of credit is needed with the core units being done

So I doubt i have to do a major.

oh okay. Well yeah, I guess it's based on the uni/course requirements
