hey.....

just wondering if its possible to change subjects at the end of year 11 or are you stuck with the same subjects as boring as they may be?

you are able to drop subjects.
buts ITS REALLY hard to change subjects then because of the course requirements from prelim (when you are in yr 12).

i only have heard maths can do this by this i mean drop 2u for general.

If you did Chemistry, Biology or Physics you can pick up Senior Science.

You can drop subjects, but you can only pick up extensions

hmm isnt it any subject? my friends dropped economics for snr science. i think if youre dropping down from any 2 units you can go into snr science. my school let some kinds pick up ext 1 english at the end of yr 11, but they had to make up for one years worth of work in the holidays. not fun i can imgaine

yeah, as kimmeh said, senior science isn't an extension, so you don't need to be doing any sciences to pick it up...I know heaps of people who picked it up and aren't doing any other science subject

Well at my school you had to do one of the prelim courses to pick it up in yr 12. So thats where I got it from.

at my school u had to do a science subject to pick up senior science..
at my school u can drop 2u re to 1u re.. and u can drop subjects as long as u have 11 or more units..
i wanted to pick up 2u religion but he said i would have to do holiday assignments so that the principal can sign me off on doing the course.. but i wasnt bothered
i guess it depends on the school policy

yeah a few people came up to our 2u RE class, but they had to do extra credit assignments

u can go up with re, english and maths and ext subz

and math ext to 2u

and...ext 1 eng to ext 2
