wat does this mean "bruised with dirt, and school" ? i have the study guide for the poem but its just confusing the hell out of me ... anyone that has studied this can you please exaplain it to me?

brusied as in hurt
dirt as by falling down
school as in bullied

thus maybe it means

to get abused/wounded/put down by the school i.e bullies etc. The dirt i presumed is just so that you can recognise that the school is just another metonymy
