So I'm in my prelims at the moment and struggling with my subjects. Changing one of these subjects would really take off the stress.

I want to drop Chinese beginners but I have asked and cant swap it to another subject due to the preliminary requirements.
I was thinking of swapping my 1u filler (Sports Leisure Recreation) to Studies of Religion. Is this possible? If I can do this then I am allowed to continue with it and have it as a 2u subject in year 12 and drop Chinese beginners. Advice please, thanks in advanced.
