Anyone going? I'd like to, they seem really good and comprehensive - and very nice revision just before trials! Especially as there is an option, in Mus2 to bring submit your compositions (before hand) and bring an instrument along to perform, so you could have a critical eye before everything gets solidly serious and stuff needs to be handed in... Yay!

Music 1 is on 6 July, Music 2+Ext on two days, the 5 and 6 of July

Info: Ph 9351 1207, Email tcallinan@greenway.usyd.edu.au

So?..... :D

The Con has some cheap accommodation arrangements with some local (private) schools which can be arranged on application, but then it puts the price up, then of course GETTING to Sydney via train/bus/camel will cost... but of course the option is there... we're sorry, in Syd! :(

i recomend this for anybody who wants to do well in their HSC as it is so helpful and comprehensive, this is run by the same staff as the access program which i am a part of. The staff of this program are really on the ball when is comes to HSC music (alot better than most public school teachers) and these corse are very benificial for any HSC music student. Cya There

Meetup - Seriously? That will be cool.. God knows how we'll meet beacuse this thing sounds pretty huge.

I am getting my compositions reviewed (my application is barely getting sent a the moment so I don't know if I will even get in...) and of course nowhere near finished. It shall be helll! HAHA... I am dieing for criticism though because everytime I play it for my teacher she goes "That's so nice.." or something to that effect. It's sort of like please say something else!!!! Anything!! There has to be something wrong with it!

Oh good, that reassures me! Hehe...

Mmmm. I didn't know what they meant by 'performing in front of peopl' - but presuming it's playing our piece that we would e playing for the actual perf. exam or soemtihng? At any rate - to nerve wracking for me! Better leave that up to my compositions to be shat on in front of X people... :( :)

I don't knwo exactly how we will meet -- we can sort it out by PM... :)

I got a call the other day confirming my enrollment into the course and I'm playing on the first day -- Monday arvo session. Should be interesting making a fool of myself in front of people.

ARGH DAMNIT!!!

I knew I should have organised it myself. My music teacher didn't put the form in!!! Said she would take care of it, no worries and all that, and then I ask her if she got like an invoice or confirmation back - "No" - hurrah. And I guess it would be too late to call them. Also dunno where I'll get the cents in the next few days either lol...

D'OH

There goes music for the HSC for me... Let me know how it goes anyway, any interesting epiphanii or anything..

i can't believe i performed today!! that was so embarassing. mind you if i can do it in a room full of 60 strangers, then i suppose the HSC aint so bad :p

it was useful. i love the lecturer, she is hilarious!!! some lecturers put you to sleep, this one really know how to grab your attention! once i get the rest of my notes (from tommorow too) i will post some of them up.

hey that things crap cos i heard that they only take like 6 compositions... my friend was gona go to that so they could review his comp but they said they only take a few comps so he's gona miss out and he paid like $100 and theyre not even gona look at his stuf. thats kinda crappy what a waste of money he's gona end up watching all the performers but he's not doing performance for his elective. i read the little info booklet and it said some performers may miss out on playing but what if u turned up with ur accompanist and u dont even get the chance to perform what a waste of time and money. ha glad im not doing it
